ha, ha! I used to be that way, but I realized that the future of hot rodding was LS Engines. And if you’re not growling you’re dying. So it was critical that I learned it!

that can start an interesting conversation ... LS EFI vs Carb. i have yet to see a dyno shoot-out where the carb didn't make better numbers. now, it's basically negligible numbers for most applications, and there's obviously more to it, but the carb aint dead yet!

i'm actually putting a carb on a 2005 truck 6.0L going into my dad's car this summer. different sound and look from EFI, and retains more of the character of driving the car.

Re: Orson the 49 GMC ~ Chris C.

I’m going to go carb on my 53 Packard Clipper Deluxe Sportster. You can’t reproduce that classic look with EFI.

The fuel system is finished! We modified the universal 0-30 ohm sender and included it in the tank.

I’d say 20-25,but I’m not charging for this since I bought a harness that didn’t fit.

Re: Orson the 49 GMC ~ Chris C.

1. The problem, the tensioner pulley was to big and left no room for the hose
2. I solved it by going from a 3.5” pulley to a 3”.
3. The belt fitted correctly
4. we also did some more wire covering

Re: Orson the 49 GMC ~ Chris C.

oh shoot, that'll be a good seat. i like how the middle actually totally folds down vs an insert. more of buckets with a console vs a bench with an armrest.

Re: Orson the 49 GMC ~ Chris C.

That’s exactly the reason it was chosen, that and the width. These trucks will fit a 55” seat, this one’s 53”

the yukon seat i got is 55 and it places my butt a little on the outside of the steering wheel. you'll probably be more comfortably centered with 53.
