Re: How rare ???????????

If you have one I would hold on to it. They are gettng very difficult to find.
I've look at I don't know how many at junk yards and in the wild and have only seen 2-3.

Re: How rare ???????????

I used to pull cluster parts from local junkyards to resell on eBay and elsewhere. Out of 70-100 clusters over maybe 3 years I probably got 10 with tachs?

The real finds are the c50/c60 tachs that have the fuel gauge and tach integrated into one unit.

Is the main wiring harness plug and play for the c50/c60 guage swaps?

Re: How rare ???????????

Yes, the power and coil wire are. But you need the 1). printed circuit board (E-bay) get the right one there one guy selling re-pops. not sure how many he has. 2). Tach cluster backing plate (LMC) for the year options you're working on.
Now the Tach with small gas gauge at needs to modify to the plastic you can't have warning light at the bottom of the Tach. for the gas gauge wire terrals.

Honestly I dont remember, but I dont think so. Pretty sure the non-tach trucks dont have a tach signal wire in the harness so you need to run one. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong on that though.

But you can remove the pins from the connector on the truck harness and re-pin it to match whatever cluster you have. It's just a matter of figuring out what wires go where.
