WTB Burb 4x4

My wife and I saw a very nice 4x4 Burb ('72 I think, with a little lift) and she said " that looks cool". I then said "would you like to have one?" She said "I think I could drive one of those". This is as close as I will ever get to getting to having permission to start a second project vehicle. If anyone has a decent 4x4 burb for sale within a few hundred miles of western Arkansas, please contact me or post a pic. BTW, it will need to have an automatic transmission.

Thanks,

LT

That is a tall order but there are a few out there. Burb production was a fraction of trucks and 4x4's were only a fraction of burb production, 3/4 ton 4x4's being the scarcest. Also, no automatic 4x4's were produced between 67-69. This is not to discourage you, but to make you aware of there relative scarcity. You may get lucky and find one locally. There have been several for sale on this board over the past 9 months or so. A lot more 1/2 tons 4x4's were made than 3/4 ton 4x4's.

Here is mine. It's a 72 3/4 ton 4x4, 350/th350, custom deluxe, 3 seater, with barn doors. This is one of the rarest of all 72's with < 600 3/4 tons produced with that drivetrain and rear cargo door configuration. It's road worthy, but sadly it needs a lot of body work.

Here is one in Oklahoma that looks good.
Auto air and a lots of options.
It says creme color but it looks to be ochre.
This color really grows on you and does look outstanding when clean and shiney.

Have fun

Ochre does grow on you. And that burb looks like a tremendous bargain at that price.

AND CPNE-Jeff, what is that butt-ugly blue front clip doing on my burb? Get that off of there right now!
