Short Bed or Long Bed

I imagine that most would prefer a Short Bed. But, who knows, we may all be in for a surprise. I prefer a Long bed myself, but i could be prejudiced.....

By-the-way, compliments on OLDRED's '67 Short Bed. Hope he doesn't mind me using his beautiful truck as the illustration.

If its a nice longbed truck,it wont be for ever,it will get a short frame and box.not a long fan,but of course i dont dislike them.

For a hot rod, like what is pictured, I'll have to say shortb ed, but I think I have to agree with my wife (for once) and say a short step would look better than either of those pics.

Long beds anyday. Shortbeds are too stubby looking, the box is totally out of proportion with the cab. As far as Shortboxes being a better rod, that is only a matter of opinion.

There are a couple of long beds running around Garland that are clean & mostly original that I like alot but my first choice would be shorts. I would like to make a long dually that's slammed one of these days.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Longbed is more practical, you can't fit a cord of wood in a shorty. I realize we're not all here to use our trucks like trucks, but..

For an everyday truck, I'd have to say long. For a toy, I'll take a short bed (maybe even a short step)

I had a friend in new mexico, had a longbed like myself. He had a personalized license plate that read:

"So Long"

That about says it for me, too.....

long bed, or longhorn.... I'd love a longhorn but still havn't found any that are affordable here... I don't really disklike short beds, I'd like one, but I won't shorten a long into one.
