Re: Vintage Air Sale

Hello,
I'm looking to add air conditioning to a '65 Suburban that currently has the single-knob heater. Need a complete system, (fresh air, cold air, heat, defrost) with all hardware. I am keeping the v6 & would like the controls and vents to look like they are supposed to be there. Looking for recommendations. Would there be vents for passengers in the rear? Does your A/C kit replace the existing heater?
Thanks,
Joshua J.

Re: Vintage Air Sale

I have a Gen IV evap - gonna stay with stock vents for a 68 factory AC cab. Adaptors for this? Also, I have a serpentine setup from a 94 ( I think, it is without air pump, and compressor is on passenger side - pancake style). I want to go with a Sanden compressor (508 I think), and need an adaptor bracket to mount. Need to figure out most of the outside stuff (condensor, dryer, compressor). Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Re: Vintage Air Sale

I never did hear from Scottshotrods on my 61 BelAir, so I purchased a surefit kit from Rainbow Products.

Re: Vintage Air Sale

Would love to know exactly what I need for a 53' GMC, 4.8 LS motor, March Enterprises serpentine set-up(still has GM factory A/C compressor), smoothed firewall, and would like to use the billet aluminum looking control panel vs the plastic black turn knobs. Please give me a complete run down as Im looking to do this is the next few days. Try doing a PM to me, but honestly this is my first post on here and I made the account over 2 years ago if I remember right... not sure if its linked to my email.

Otherwise copy to robinson_racer_33@hotmail.com

Looking forward to finally making use of this forum membership I have... I have a 69 C10 Short Step w/ 383 stroker and a 53 GMC w/ 4.8 LS that none of these guys know about!
