Gas gauge to 90 ohms - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

With the installation of a Camaro tank and the 90-ohm sender, it seems that the quickest solution to convert the 30-ohm gauge is a 90-ohm resistor.

Plan: Remove the 30-ohm shunt and harness tangs, add the 90-ohm shunt and plug the harness back in. I may add an additional ground. Thoughts?

He changed my AMP Gauge into a Volt Meter and also calibrated my Temp Sending Unit to my Temp Gauge.

Run some test leads to/from the sender, it'd be easy to find out.

This is the plan. Thanks for all the responses. I read through as many old posts as I could. It appears electrical is right up there with voodoo
