This is why I don't want a pretty truck. Off roaded to the back property. Cut and loaded up fallen trees for firewood.

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

I don’t have to worry about that in LA. No fallen trees, no firewood and definitely no back property.

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

I have to move everything from one storage bin to another so I used my truck to tow my son's truck to the other storage unit. It was only a few blocks so it wasn't that big a deal.

I took the bed apart and painted the inside with Raptor liner and replaced the plywood bed floor.

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

I got the engine and transmission for my 64 Suburban today.

I've had the Suburban in storage for a few years and now it's time to get started on it.

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

Remember gents, there are two different threads. One is for what you did WITH your truck (this one). The other one is for what you did TO your truck.

It's amazing how much a little altitude and chrome changes things.

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

Got the lower ball joint that was fighting me seperated from the spindle. Then removed spring and control arms. Then busted the rivets off the original top ball joints and removed the control arm shafts. Sandblasting next then put back together with new power front disc brakes.

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

Drove it to Baton Rouge for a breakfast meet (about 270 miles round trip). I need to get the Vintage Air stuff off the shelf and get it installed. I need heat and AC would be nice. Us Yankees turned southerners don't like 30's and no heat.

Vary nice. A set of white wheels might look nice also. But I’m a little biased.

Nice truck man.
You could go either color on your sun visors by the way. I'd go with the same green.
