Makes no sense on our end. I am in no way doubting you, just saying if you get one you should have both.

Curious, for those with this happening, wgat is your email carrier.

Re: Subscribed Threads in Folder

I use @aol.com
My browser is Edge
If I open from my aol.com favorites I have to log in every time, however if I tap on the Edge icon and open up the web site I'm logged in. As to why this make any difference in receiving notices and having to log in every now I have no idea. When it come to computers I know just enough to be dangerous.

Nothing in spam folder either. Any remedy/solution to all this? Do I need my tin foil hat for big brother?

Is there something on our end that we can look at to fix these issues? I've tried clearing the cache but it didn't change anything.

Re: Subscribed Threads in Folder

For a longtime I wasn’t getting the emails, then suddenly I was getting them about a month ago. But it was short lived, it’s backs to where I’m not getting the email notifications. But what I got in the habit of doing, is going to the “user cp” tab, it will list all the threads that have new comments. That’s how I’ve been keeping up with my subscribed threads. Of course that means there’s going to be a long delay, because I may only come to the forum once a day.
It has become my morning ritual while sitting here having coffee, to come to the forum and see if there’s anything new posted.

Re: Subscribed Threads in Folder

Good morning, I am a new member of this forum and I am not able to get any emails for threads that I am subscribed to. I am on gmail as well as some others. I have verified that there are no messages in my spam folder. Is there something else that I need to do?

Thanks, Clay

Re: Subscribed Threads in Folder

This has been going on now for a couple of months. I thought I'd found a fix on my end but it's not working. I still have to sign in every time and I'm not receiving notices for subscribed updates

There’s other forums ? JK
What seems odd to me is,
There are 2 threads that I subscribe to weekly.
I get notifications from those.
I don’t get notifications from the others that are instant notifications.

I'm not getting any messages from individual members about it. I'm not subscribed to any threads so I don't know.

So why am I not getting any notifications to this thread or any others that I'm subscribed to? I've checked on my end and have done everything I can do but it hasn't fixed the problem. I was going to upgrade from registered to premium but I see other premium members are affected also, so that doesn't seem help.

If I knew, you would not need to post asking. Being a supporting member has nothing to do with any of this. I get subscription, pm and forum emails. I asked for information previously to see if it related at all. Doesn’t seem to.

Maybe subscription notification emails are working for you because you are an administrator. You could try making a new temporary non-administrator account for yourself, subscribe to some active thread, and see if you get any emails.

We have test accounts on every tier. As far as I know they all work.
This stuff is above my pay grade. I just try to answer to what I know
I am sure Josh will reply soon
