Np 203 mounting holes
There aren't any mounting holes in my np 203 is this normal, or should I look for a different trasfer case?

The holes on the side are just for an additional brace, not always needed.

I have 3 trucks with 203's and none of them had the brace on them. I have never seen one without the holes though. I wonder if it's a first year model or something.

If I recall correctly, there was a problem with the side braces actually cracking the housing. I didn't put mine back in when I reassembled my Blazer.

From what I have seen the t-case side mounting brackets were eliminated shortly after 72 due to causing breaks in the trans housing and t-case adapter. Later models can have a long rod style brace that attaches to the bell housing. My 85 Chev had one like that. I will leave the t-case to frame mount out on my 72 build.
