question about 2wd?

Did the 2wd version come with control arms and coil springs or was it a straight axle with leaf springs? I'm thinking about buying a 70 Jimmy in california that is a 2wd conversion. It used to be a 4wd but now it has control arms and coil springs up front and a 700r4 trans. Just want to make sure it was done right. Thanks for your help.

They have control arms and coils. The rear uses trailing arms and coils.
