6.0 to NV4500 using SM465 Bellhousing?

So I am putting parts together for my 2nd LS swap, this one is going to be LQ9/NV4500/NP241c stuffed into a 72 K10 Suburban.

I know the NV4500 can be redrilled to fit the SM465 bellhousing to retain the factory clutch system. So here is what I am thinking for a parts list

Sachs 1050 6.0 Fly Wheel
1972 Clutch Set (Throw out bearing, 12" Clutch disc and Pressure plate)
LS2 Pilot Bearing
Redrilled NV4500
SM465 Bellhousing
Adjustable LS swap Pivot Ball

Both my 95 NV4500 and 72 SM465 bell housings have the same depth (6 5/16") and the same ID for the bearing retainer. The Bearing Retainer snout is the same diameter and they they have the same Input shaft stick out.

So will this work or am I missing something?

Also some notes - Dont want to go expensive swap bell housings, later model bearing retainer plus machining to fit, or the stock external slave bc I have read it interfers with the drive shaft.

Here is how I did mine.....

Mine is behind a SB Chevy but it should still work the same if you are using the stock SM465 bell housing. I am still driving mine and the only problem I have had was that I had to replace a throw out bearing. I used a "good" used one when I put mine together....
