Rust free 1972 K5 4X4 Blazer for parts or whole (Pictures Added)

I had my 1972 K5 4X4 Blazer Tub media blasted and prepared for paint. It is completely ready for paint and I am thinking about parting out my entire Blazer. I have over $20,000.00 in receipts for parts alone. You will not find a better Blazer out there period!

I am wondering what kind of interest there is in the Tub and everything except the engine, wiring and complete dash w/AC if I was to part it out or selling everything as a whole right now.

No expence has been spared to date and I just dont have the time to finish it. I would be willing to sell it the way it is right now for the right price. The only things that it still needs is carpet and sill plates. I have everything else to finish it, it even runs and drives at this time.

A friend has already been paid to finish all the preperation work on all panels. I was going to have it painted Black so I wanted everything perfectly straight. The tub is all done, the front fenders are almost finished, the tailgate is almost finished, the doors are almost finished and the hood only needs a little work to be perfect. Every piece of the body has been media blasted, coated in DP90 then Semprimed and blocked till straight in preperation for the final coat of Black. I have stainless steel bolts to mount almost every piece of sheet metal.

Like I said I am interested in finding out the interest in either selling it as is or parting it out completely. I have full documentation on everything that has been done to this Blazer since I have owned it. I also have a picture book to document the restoration to date.

I know it is almost finished, I would rather sell it whole. I will keep you posted!

If it has a single wall top, I might be interested.
Thanks

Actually it has a double wall top, but I have a guy that wants to look at the top today. I do have a perfect rear hatch and a line on a single wall top.

I can work up a price for everything with or without the engine.

I will be at work and can not not check my hotmail account while there. Please pm me or I will reply to e-mail tonight for everyone interested right now. There are pictures of the Blazer all over the site right now just do a search for my user name. I have tried to reply to all e-mails so far. Thanks!

Thanks for the interest on the parts to date and please keep pming me so I can keep everyone straight. I want to make sure I am answering all questions on selling it whole first. There are 3 people in line right now that I am talking with on the possiblity of selling it whole first. I do have an extensive list of more then what is above if I am to part it. An example is new hood hinges, new window regulators, new zinc coated door hinges, stainless bolts for just about everything, etc.

It is either sell it now or pay storage for at least another year before I can finish it. I pay $400 a month in storage fees right now. It is a gorgeous Blazer, I guarantee that there isnt another in this shape as far as detail work goes. I would like to get $15,000 for it with the engine and everything or $13,000 for everything except the engine. I can break it up as need for a purchase but I would like to keep it as close to whole as possible.

I hate to see ya let it go. Tell the Marines to give you a break so you can get it done and if not and you have to part it out let me know.

Wish I had the money or time. Too bad it has to go. What did you coat the floor with? Is it a liner, or is the photo just off a little? Thanks, Jeff.

The whole body has been shot with DP90 an epoxy sealer/primer over the bare metal. The quarter panels have been shot with a high build primer, blocked down till completely flat then sealed with the same DP90 in preperation for the paint. I had plans to line-x the floors after the paint was done.

I will only sell the rear panels if I am parting the Blazer out. They are exact reproductions that are no longer made as far as I know. They are black and have the scroll work like the door panels. I paid $500 of them about 3 or 4 years ago, they are still in the plastic. If I was to sell them I would need at least what I have into them.
