1968 SUB ON CRAIGSLIST 50th?

I Found this on the St Louis CL, not mine but I did find out it is maybe 5 miles from me. I do not have the funds to get it however I did talk to the owner on the phone stated it is a 400 small block with a 4 speed. Also note the color combo, could this be a 50th? Anyone want me to check it out for them let me know I would love to have a reason to go see it and not be a tire kicker.

Re: 1968 SUB ON CRAIGSLIST 50th?

Looks about what mine would've a few years ago. I've heard of 50th anniversary trucks but didn't even think about '68 suburbans. What would be the difference? Is it gonna be listed somewhere on the SPID?

I had one, but I parted it out. It was waaaay too far gone to do anything with.

One thing it did have, though, was all the documentation.
Build sheet:

Spid:

Almost original title and protecto-plate:

I say almost original title, because the John guy named on the title bought it from his dad, a couple years after the dad had bought it new. As far as I know, this is one of 2 documented C/20 50th 'Burbs known to have existed.
