Question Lift Kit - How High

NEED OPINIONS AND ANY PICS OF 4WD K5 BLAZERS, MINE NOW
IN THE GARAGE STRIPPIN HER DOWN AND I'VE GOT IT ON JACK
STANDS. CENTER OF WHEEL WELL IS 48" OFF THE GROUND AND
IT STILL CLEARS THE GARAGE DOOR OPENING BY 4-6 INCHES.
I AM LOOKING AT THE SKYJACKER 6 AND 8 INCH LIFT KITS AND
I THINK I WILL NEED A BODY LIFT. ALL ADVICE WELCOMED.

ROAD, THEY SAY THESE TYPE OF WHEEL / TIRE COMBO'S ARE THE

How tall can you get the 18's? I am partial to 38's. They look very good.

I dont like the body lift on the trucks they make the front bumper look bad but if you use an after market winch bummper then you can fix the gap problem. Im running a 3in body and six in springs now but Im replacing the body lift with more suspention so that my bumpers line up. For wheels I had MT classic II but when I did my 1ton convertion I went to hummer wheels recentered to 3 1/4 back spacing I have 36 14.50 Baja radals on it now but will be going to the 38in ssr I thought hard abought going to the 46in claw but I didnt want to cut my fenders and the springs I would need would be crazzy plus I like my hummer wheels and they would be to narrow for that wide tire but it would have been a wild looking ride.

Profile shot in the pic above you can see the gap with the body lift I thought abought using a front roll pan to fill the gap but have decided to do a way with the body lift.

There are ways to lift the bumper. Mine looks perfect with a 3 inch body.

I was going to lift the bumpers but to do it you have to cut the fraim rais flat and make new bumper mounts it wouldnt be hard to do but I didnt want to cut the frame of the blazer or my new bumpers for the frame to fit threw it at the bottom.

I ran 18/39 Mickeys with my 6" skyjacker, an 3" body, had to do some trimming. I will sell you the 6" kit, 3" body, and the half top I have for sale at a deal, email me and lets deal. Tommy

Sorry for got. It is from the ground to the wheel well 49in from the wheel well to the center of the hub 32in and from the ground to the rocker in the cent of my door is 30in

That is with 30psi air I could probly get 1 to 3 in if I had a little more air in the tires.
