Re: rear disc brake templates and drawings

The first post said, that the cost was based on parts some time ago.
I'm sure it is still a good price, but just asking since so many people have bought the plans and not posted and installed info.

when i initially built this design, i could buy everything for under 100 bucks...nowadays, parts are in the 150 range. there is another board member that is looking into having the templates lasered out, but i havent got back with him yet. and there are about 5 that have built them,, i had noticed in there build threads where they had em on there,,just dont remember who they were..but as far as stopping power, they work well, i had them on my 72 that was lifted with 35's, i thought they worked pretty good,i guess all i can say is give em a whirl and see how they work for you. will they be perfect for everyone,,they should,,,, but with peoples opinions these days,,its not likely.

Well, currently, mine doesn't. But that may be because the whole rear suspension is off of it. That's why I'm looking at upgrading the brakes - it's all apart currently.

Doesnt drilling a 6x5.5 wheel patern overlap one hole if drilling a 5x5 pattern into it?

Re: rear disc brake templates and drawings

when i initially designed this kit, it was for a 6 lug, after so many people asking for 5 lug version, i had to come up with a solution, that is why i use a 6 lug rotor for 5 lug application, which in return, made it a universal kit for either 6 lug or 5 lug
