This one at a local show, complete frame off, 383/700r4, saddle interior, bed wood was still not in in it, still under contruction at time of photo.

Well i felt that this picture was appropriate for this thread since i was using my long bed to show the long bed off the parts truck some love and delivering it to my friends house today!



just put some wood stakes in the stake pockets in all four corners to keep it in position and a strap to keep it from bouncing around ....worked out great!

heres mine, its a 66 custom cab, I like to keep mine driving while making upgrades. I looked for 6 months to find a clean buildable long bed, clean ones seem to be getting rare around here. Lots to do but it's loads of fun!

Looks like the fleetside are outnumber the stepsides 4-1. Alot of great looking trucks....keep the pics coming.

I guess the reasoning for that is, if you wanted a longer bed for more load capacity then you'd also want a wider bed?
