No see em 20 gallon gas tank--started

I removed the rear most cross member and fabricated a new one out of an I-beam. Made a cardboard pattern, cut a slot for the bed cross member (will fab a new one to make room for the elevated tank) and mounted it in place. With the rear pan in place the tank wasn't visible when I was kneeling 25 feet back. So far I have the tank sides tacked, the top ready and two baffles made. I will add another baffle in the morning and weld in place. I have holes drilled in the top for the vend and the feed. I have to get a 2 5/8 holes saw for the sender flange. The tank is mounted 1 1/2" above the rails and is longer because I moved the rear cross member. I will be 20 gallons. Will post more photos as I progress.

Finished the baffles. Drilled and tacked the vent, pickup and sender bungs. Will tack the baffles, mount brackets and lid in place soon.

All tacked together except the mount brackets. Trial mounted it to mark for the brackets. Standing behind it can't be seen.
