Edelbrock Torker 2R -Square Port BBC Manifold

Not sure of the age. Removed from my '69 396 oval head motor 10 years ago.

Big block, square port, single plane manifold. Looks to be in good shape aside from needing a bath.

50$ + the ride if shipped. Local pickup / meet up possible in the Bay Area.

Re: Edelbrock Torker 2R -Square Port BBC Manifold

I will take it if the surfaces are OK. The water crossover area can get a lot of corrosion on it...

Sorry, can't get used to not getting notifications. I'll get some pics tonight. IIRC, the surfaces were pretty clean.

Sorry for the lag.

Re: Edelbrock Torker 2R -Square Port BBC Manifold

THe biggest concern is where the intake gasket seals to the head. Sometimes the intakes get very corroded there...

Re: Edelbrock Torker 2R -Square Port BBC Manifold

Really sorry for the delay. Here are some pics. Couldn't get the camera to focus really close up. Crossover looks fine. Little to no corrosion. Some rust staining inside but no pits. The cooling jacket block offs at the rear have a little pitting which really doesn't show up well in the closeups. I can take some measurements if you'd like.

Re: Edelbrock Torker 2R -Square Port BBC Manifold

Hey Jeff, I started messing around with it last night and noticed that the hose barbell that goes to the water pump had what looked like silicone. Tried removing the fitting with a wrench and it wouldn't budge so I gave it a little heat and it popped loose to reveal 1/2 of the threads missing. The silicone turned out to be JB weld.

I'm going to pull the listing tomorrow until I figure out what to do with it. Last thing I want to do is sell someone a bunk part.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: Edelbrock Torker 2R -Square Port BBC Manifold

So the threads are 1/2" deep and about a 1/4" missing. Please excuse the makeshift ruler. It's fairly accurate though.

All other threaded holes are fine.

Not sure how shipping would work right now either. All 5 surrounding counties on some form of lockdown. Essential services are the only thing that are open. Maybe USPS at this point.
