BBC headers

what headers will fit a Big block chevy truck that are not long tube. i have long tubes now and dont want them dragging the ground. does any one have part numbers?

I know you said you didn't want long tubes because of dragging problems, but I am running Hooker Super Competition headers on my BBC - they are made specifically for 69-72 model P/U's. The truck is lowered about 2" in front, and the tubes hug the bottom of the truck. So far, I haven't had any dragging problems. I did have to modify the tranny cross member on the passenger side for the exhaust pipe to work.

BB chevelle shortys is what I have on my truck. Hedman I think they were $99.00 Fit nice and sounds good. I think they are 64-67 shortys

Yep, 64-67 Big Block Chevelle headers work darn good, even on newer trucks until '87 for sure.
