The GMC or Chevrolet Suburban goes back all the way to 1930's when every manufacturer used the term "Suburban" as a reference to station wagon design. GM actually used Carry All as the model designation. It actually was not until 1988 that General Motors was awarded the trademark "Suburban". The fifth generation of Suburban was built from 1960-1966. They offered several firsts in the industry including independent front suspension and a lower riding height to give the feeling of a more car like comfortable ride. The rarest of the bunch which was not offered after 1966 was the One Ton C30 which was a 10-foot panel truck. This particular Suburban C30 1-ton has been 100% nut and bolt restored with all receipts, picture documentation and correspondence. This consignor has owned this car since 1987 and has meticulously converted this beast in to the beauty it is today. The restoration was mostly completed by Randy Church Restorations out of St. Charles, MI and completed in 2006 at the tune of $50,000 at almost 900 Hours. The car then again was repainted in the gorgeous color you see here of Stealth Blue in 2015 for another $15,000. Those numbers don't even come close to hitting on the rest of the money that has been put in to it over the years including the professional interior done by Barretts in Traverse City, MI. The engine was rebuilt along with the transmission and is out of a later model truck producing what is said to be about 300 HP. It is mated to a 5-speed manual. This truck looks better than new by a long shot. It has upgraded seats and gauges, starts perfectly, runs and drives very smooth with nothing leaking or smoking. All of this done to a vehicle that is next to impossible to find let alone was a decent C30 to begin with. This GMC comes absolutely turn key with every stitch of restoration documentation and would be impossible to duplicate for the money asking.

1965 Chevy Suburban for sale.

Rare clam shell opening, body in very good shape (very few rust spots). Has been sitting for a while, but it started last time it was moved. Previous owner put in a 350 small block engine and changed the transmission from a manual to an automatic. A new wiring harness and serpentine kit was purchased by me to install, but health reasons have stopped any progress to continue to restore.

Bill of sale and clean title in hand. Registration will need to be updated.

Starts on half a turn of the key. Runs beautifully drives beautifully. It will need the upper a arm cross shafts replaced. New ones are included. Great tires. Power steering, manual brakes. 1964 Chevrolet C10 Shortbox Stepside. 4.8 LS with Gen 4 rods. Stage 2 cam and lifters. Holley Terminator EFI. Starts right up even on these past few cold mornings. Runs and shifts well. Eaton Truetrac with 3.73 gears. 4 wheel disc brakes. Power steering. Grand slam lowering kit with CPP trailing arms. New ball joints up front. Dakota Digital Dash. Classic Auto Heat and AC that works well. ICT front drive brackets. I would drive it anywhere but would want a different fuel tank and window channel seals. I just bought it a couple weeks ago but can’t haul the whole family around so I need something with a back seat. Will trade for something old and cool. Clean title. Entire build has a little over 1000 miles on it.
