The bottom of both doors were rusted out and both doors had been hacked up to install speakers. So, lower door skins and lower inner door shells were replaced.

I can't take credit for the body work.
Phil McCasland and his crew at McCasland auto body, are doing all the paint and body work.

The dash had been cut with a cutting torch around the dash cluster and was tacked back in. They fixed the dash where it was butchered, and filled in the radio hole. They will cut out most of the radio hole patch later on, to accept a double den large face radio. I'm just not sure what radio I want yet.

I caught a break! After removing the paint, the hood is in good shape. LOL

Both rear quarters were buckled a little. I think it had been hit from behind, but there was no frame damage. It wasn't that bad so most likely it wasn't hit that hard.

The driver side front fender was decent, so it was repaired and primed. The passenger side had hidden damage and lots of bondo, so I ordered a Tri Plus replacement from LMC, the quality was great and it fit like a glove.

The entire floor and both rockers had to be replaced. Unfortunately no one makes a repop floor for these old Blazers. So, the only option was to order a truck floor and alter it to fit.

Call me crazy, but I'm not putting a hard top back on this ride. If I do anything, I might put a soft top on it later. If there is a cloud in the sky, this truck won't leave my shop.

Now that the floor and rockers have been replaced and the doors and fenders checked for fitment, we can take the body off of the frame. (The new body mount bushings were put in before the parts were welded in place.)

There is a transfer case in that grease ball. At least I think there is.

Gutted the transfer case and had it powder coated before reassembly.
