Well, I was inquiring to see if anyone has done it yet or am I the first to do it.
So lets start with the truck . 1964 C10 short bed small window the one in my avatar. dropped 3inches in front 6 inches out back. coilover on rear 250lb spring adjustable shock. 9 inch that measures 52 inches hub to hub 18x29x15 tire street/13inch slick strip. Boxed frame and going to do some more chassis work. Front suspension is cpp tubular arms with sway bar. Custom disc brakes on all four corners . I will take pics as it comes together.
Lets talk about the fun part, the engine. BBC 540 twin turbo.
heads AFR 325 cnc
intake edelbrock efi
block Dart Big M with billet mains
crank eagle 4.25 forge (what I had)
rods eagle 6.385 H beam Arp 2000 bolts
turbos are BW s480 80/93 1.32 ar
cam is going to be custom grind and running crower shaft rockers

I've got a turbo setup in my truck...but only on 370 cubes.

I am planning to put together a similar TT 540 BBC setup in my Chevy II though.

I have a really nice 548 I will sell you but you would just have to swap pistons to be boost friendly! I think I really want a bigger Motor.

Ok got a little work done today. tore the 514 gear set out and put a 350 in running a Moser bolt through third member. working on a bigger fuel cell next. here are some pics . that's one of the turbos a teaser..lol

Nice! What kind of fuel pump are you going to use? Rear end is 3.25 tube? Looks stout... nice setup!

yes 3.25 tubes dom running a external pump that's good for 1000 hp to start(its what I got) then upgrading to something that will handle 1500hp

At what HP Rating do you starting thinking about a back brace?

I would think it was more about weight at traction. I'm sure HP an Torque wise you fall right in the middle of when a back brace would be recommended. I'm going to be watching this build.

don't plan on back brace do to the DOM tubing and the narrow rear . also not using a trans brake .

im running a fab 9 moser housing with back brace and 3.00 gears
a rossler 4L80E stage 5
trying to figure out how to fit a water to air intercooler system with a killer chiller

20x14 budniks in the back with 29x15x20 mickey thompson tires

sounds like we are both building something very similar
