fuel tank anti-squeak padding
I am installing a new fuel tank on an '84 k1500 and the new parts didn't come with the anti squeak webbing. I have done searches but haven't found what really looks like it is correct. I am sure it is out there, but I am evidentally not using the right wording. Can anyone tell me what they used that worked good? thanks.

Re: fuel tank anti-squeak padding
When I pulled the tanks from my truck, I found sectioned inner tubes doing duty as padding.
Seemed good enough for me. I've got a few blown-out tractor tubes sitting around, so one of those will get cut up for re-padding the tank brackets upon reassembly. |
Re: fuel tank anti-squeak padding
