Plumbing rear gas tank...

I bought this exact tank from boyd welding. Their website says the top hole in the middle is a vent and a hole in the opposite lower corner is the fuel hole. Can someone give me an idea how I need to plumb this thing!

I would look for plumbing instructions for a standard fuel cell. it should be the same

I agree with Rob, there should be another hole on the lower bottom etc, for a nipple to run a hose or hardline too for the fuel line. I would not hesitate to contact Dave with boyd welding...

I attached a pic of ours, different manufacturer but same concept.

I think the Boyd's guy is a member on here, right? send him a PM or something. Im sure he'd be the best one to ask.

The hole on the bottom will go to your fuel pump, filter and carb, the small hole on the top will go to a vent tank or charcoal canister or vent filter, the large hole on the top is for your sending unit and will be wired to your gauge.
The one with the cap on it is to fill the tank, but I'm guessing you knew that one.

Give Dave a call, he'll be more than happy to help you out.

Are you running FI or carb?
Electric pump or mech?

You could go with an in-line electric pump and regulator and not use a return.
