Suburban rwal
So I upgraded axles and brakes on my 91 Suburban to a full float 14 bolt rear and a Dana 60 front. The front axle got a conversion to 3/4 ton rotors. Still have the 1/2 calipers on it. Have a 3/4 ton master (not installed yet). Issue is a spongy pedal and I'm leaning towards the RWAL dump valve not working quite right. NO bleeder on the valve. I previously had issues on my other Suburban with the same issue. I am considering removing/bypassing the dump valve. Yes everything is adjusted correctly and have bled the system thoroughly. Any thoughts?

Re: Suburban rwal
My '91 Blazer had RWAL, I removed it when I swapped in 1 tons.

Was the difference noticeable?

Made quite a difference in braking. Have a real brake pedal now. Couple of pics

Re: Suburban rwal
May have to re-do a little bit. I think the stock combination valve is a weak link with the elimination of the dump valve. Pedal is way better, but not quite there
