Jose what is a "Big block high hump no holes" is the transmission hump? If it is how does that make a diffrence in the installation. I'm going to use a big block and I was wondering if I will need this part.

jamis High hump no holes from factory were on 2wd trucks with big block and 400 tranny . Yes that is the tranny hump .

whats the difference in the big block and the 4x4 humps couldnt they both be used for both?

The 4x4 humps have the holes for the transfer case shifter and the hole for the 4 speed shifter . The 2wd big blocks with auto did not have any holes . You could use the hump with out holes on a 4x4 but then you would have to cut out the holes for the TC shifter and the 4 speed shifter . The auto 4x4 high hump only has one hole for the TC shifter . That is a low hump so it did come with an automatic .

I know mine is part of the floor sheet metal, but I'm swapping over to a BB and a TH400 and have some concerns about the fit.
I did a search on the subject and found most peeps say its needed and comes stock on the BB/th400 combos from factory.
