Exclamation My truck's bed seems a bit soft...

Greetings all,

I noticed today when I was loading a smallblock chev w/TH350 attached and a flathead ford engine for a Model A into my truck that the bed was a little soft.

Below shows what I found when I took the time to investigate:

Incidently, no tools were used to remove the wood from the bed, only my hands...
