NEED ADVICE !!! z71 rear end swap into a 1990 4wd burb

Hello,

I have acquired a z71 rear end for my 90 4wd burb. When I picked up the rear end it looked right. Now that I look at it the shock absorber perches look different. I am wondering if it will cause problems or to just go ahead and swap it and hope for the best. Everything else looks like it will fit and its the same ratio as the original. I have to get this truck back on the road since I have been told my 89 burb must find a new home and none of my sons want to drive it.

Thanks

Steve
