Fender Trimming

Hello everyone, I usually lurk over in the 67-72' sections, but I need some help with an 2009 1500 P/U. Details are as follows: I lifted this truck for a friend of mine and she had to have 35x13.50x20's (metric size of course) and they rub the rear of the front fenders pretty badly. I am looking to cut out or fold over the lower/inner corner of the fenders.... has anyone done this yet? I need some help/insight/pics, anything to help me from ruining a brand new truck.

Also, she does not want to do a body lift unless absolutely necessary. I also dont think that 2" front spacers would do much for the clearence, just lower the point of contact.

Any thoughts??

Thank you in advance.
