72 jimmy 2wd conversion????

Hi every1. Does any one know what the ball park cost would be to have my 1972 gmc jimmy 4x4 converted to a 2wheel drive? Also if you would know any good shops in my area that can take on the project as i am wanting alot of work done starting from the ground up. I want the build in stages starting with the chassis as i know ima put a lot of money into it but cant convince the wife to let me pull more than 4digit notes at a time. Lol. Any replies or suggestions would be greatly appreciated especially az i am new to this site and this is my first post. Thanks again guys
