Stock bumper height front and rear of 64 chev shortbed

My 64 stepside shortbed had the front and rear springs cut by the PO. It looks good, but cutting the pigtail off the bottom of the rear springs was not smart. They took some steel bars to bolt accross the bottom coil of the spring. The front ones are just too low. I can't find the factory dimensions for the stock bumper heights in my books or on this site. Can anyone give me a close dimension front and rear so I know where to start? I want to have a modest lowered stance, but also want the tires I put under it to fill in the wheelwells. Thanks, Roy
