Brake Pedal Question ?

It has been mentioned a few times on this forum, that drilling a hole 1 inch lower, where the master cylinder rod connects, provides a better angle to the firewall booster, when adding power brakes.

My question is :

Is the brake pedal on a truck equipped with power brakes from the factory different than a non-power brake truck ?

Is the hole lower than a non-power brake pedal ?
