Sorry but my digital is still on the blinx so I had to scan these. The subframe for the seats was mad from a home gym that somebody had thrown away. I don't know if you can see it in the picture #3 but there is a slot that allows me to store soft top poles. It should work pretty well. The seats are out of a 2002 Tahoe. I just bought 1/2 rod and welded it across the frame and then built the floor aound the frame. Currently there is only a wood floor, but this winter hopefully I can get a steel one put in.

I like the hidden compartment and the flip forward seats. Can you give us a better explaination of them and how you did it? Also, how do you put the top on with those strips over the bed rails?

here is a pic of the lay out. The top never goes on. Those are more or less templates for different ones in the near future once I get my soft top. They were made on a cnc and will be duplicated to work with the soft top rails.

Very nice layout and great forethought. It says that your side panels have speaker boxes, how did you build backs on those? Did you do all the math to calcualte the cubic feet of air behind the speakers or just wing it? My truck is so loud that I'm not sure it would make much of a difference to spend the time to calcualte it. Of course, I probably won't buy speakers expensive enought to justify the time anyway.

I like the flip up rear seats! If I didn't have my original, I would go with that idea.

Question, how does a rear passenger get into the back, does the pass. seat flip/move forward?

Chevy Muscle- The front passenger will flip up to allow some one to get in. For the most part averyone just jumps in. The only time I have moved the passenger seat was for a lady in a dress.

Bouncy Truck I made the side panels out of 1/2 and 3/4 mdf. Should've use the waterproof stuff but I sure I will redo it again. I did build the boxes with the proper square inches required by the manufacturer for the 8" subs. As for the 6x9 most of those are not sealed so I just cut those in. I basically built the box so that it fits in front of the wheel well in the shape that was provided by the blazer. It took a little bit cutting but I works really well. I do need to but a bit of dynomat behind it.

Awesome and thanks for the detail. I want to do the same, but I have a couple of questions:
1) Is the white 2'' welded frame cover the entire cargo area, or just the from the front of the wheel wells to the back. I'm a little confused on the picture that shows the rear and the drawing and the skematic showing the open area for the soft top hoops.

2) What type of front passenger seat mounting brackets did you use to make the tahoe front seat flip up.

#1 The frame goes from the back to just a couple inches short of the fron of the wheel wells. You really have to look to notice that is is raised and for the most part you would never recognize the back storage area.
#2 I just used the bracket sliders(what ever they are called?) that came with the seat. It moves up enough for people to get in and out.
