just bought a blazer

Hi!!!we joined the board in sept.we bought a 81 blazer last night.It is in good shape but has 2 small rust holes in the rear floor.could i use a pickup floor to pacth the holes?here are some pics of it went we picked it up

What are your plans for it?

I used fiberglass to patch a few holes in the floor pans of my 76 K5.

I don't see why you can't use a pickup bed floor to patch up your Blazer floor.
I'm almost positive it's the same ribbed pattern.

Nice Blazer too.

thanks guys!! this is why i love this board My plans for it are paint and body work.put the inside back together,and drive it!we are gonna use it for pulling the tent trailer as it will fit all four of us better.we have a Dodge quad cab too.I think the blazer is way cooler to use for camping and cruisin in

Hi Dean:

Is this the same Bazer we were talking about? Anyway, I put a complete new floor in the back of mine from a pick up bed, got it for $100.
It works well but the ribs running front to back are a liitle bit different and don't quite line up but carpet will hide it. The ribs underneath are the same. My body guy just cut mine across the cab from side to side just where the rear seat bolts in at the front and then across in front of the tailgate area and down both sides. I also put in new wheel tubs at the same time. I will try to dig out my pics and email you.

Keep me in mind if you find another one.
