Newbie on board

I recently bought a 1954 GMC 3/4 ton. This is my first restoration/rebuild project. I am still trying to figure out if I want to go original or upgrade. Do any of you know of a modern frame/chassis that will work for a longbed?

I am sure that I will be frequenting this board for help.

Thanks for any info.

Danny

Welcome to the board!
I'm sticking with the orginal frame in mine. I'm just going to put in an 80's range Chevy front end and a 12 bolt rear. Will upgrade to disks on rear at a later time.
Not sure on a complete frame for a long wheel base but, I bet someone knows. You might also post over in the suspension area.

Welcome to the board!! I don't know of any direct replacement frames...I am doing an S-10 front clip on my original frame.

Good luck on your project!! If you hang around here enough, I am sure you will come up with the solution you are looking for.
