Do the buckets give you more room than the bench? I'm a big guy, and the bench is darn uncomfortable after awhile. Have avoided buckets, but if they give you more room....

No, had them done. My Moms friend has a shop so I got a decent price.

I did have to take a little ride for the seats in the first place, im 30 miles N. of L.A.

I really dont know. I'll measure later and get back. Im hoping the buckets will be lower as it seems the bench is high.

Not trying to be an A-Hole but I found out the hard way and i Dont know if I would do it again. Yes buckets do look great but they are not very comfy at all. Here are mine after I hade them redone and your right about the cost. Hers a before and after.

Wow looks great..you know my bench seat isnt all that comfy either. I wanted to stay w/ original style seats. For comfort I probably would have done some Tahoe seats.

I dont know that it would fit, im just a make it fit kinda guy. My GF has a 2004 Tahoe w/ heated power leather buckets, if I coud just figure out how to watch football from there

I am in Yuma az and the top is always off my 72 K5. I need to get my seats reupholstered but I want something that will stand up to the sun. Any ideas on what to get and what not to get?
