68 Assembly order - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Putting my 68 back together and not sure of the order or if it matters.
fenders iinner fenders and radiator support already installed
was planning on grille then the valence or gravel guard piece underneath. or should I mount the gravel shield piece to the grille and then mount unit to radiator support? Not sure if it matters but it's been a year since disassembly and was just trying to save myself some time by not having to do it over. Also can I put the chrome grille trim rings on after all other assembly's(prefered option) or does that have to be done before grille goes on
