Secondary intake on Quadrajet

I've been trying to find the metal link that opens the secondary butterflies on top. As you can see in this picture the throttle opens the bottom secondary but that doesn't do anything if the top butterflies aren't open.

Now heres a pic of the other side showing the metal link thats not there.

And another pic

Heres the carb number 17080213 07661 CPX And as a reminder its a Quadrajet.

If any of you venders have one I'd love to buy one from ya...I'd buy one from anyone really I would just like my secondary intake to work .

I'm not exactly sure if that link is the only one I need to hook it up, if any of you have the same carb I'd like to hear what all I need.

Thanks

Vacumn, -Pulls them open when you crack the lower flaps around 3/4 wide open throttle. -What you think your missing is a rod that works in conjunction with the chike linkage to keep the secondaries from opening when the choke is not wide open. Some models had -others did not.

yes they are probably working there is an adjustment for how fast the top butterflies open it is located in pic 2 where the lever under the numbers 84201? are at i believe the set screw is the one near the lever and there is a allen head screw facing down behind the lever hope that helps, if not go to the library and find a manual for it any one should tell you as long it is for a vehicle with a q-jet. keep fiddil'n with it these carbs are great when set up right
