Post Cutting down a longbed..

I'm considering cutting my longbed to make a shorty out of it. I think I've seen someone from the board's website about doing this.. Has anybody got pics of this process? How much do I cut in front of and behind the rear end and where? Would it be worth it to cut the bed or find a short bed for it? Thanks!

12" out of the middle(under the cab),& 8" off the back end. I would replace the box, rather than cut it down. I think Ebfabman has pics of the frame cut.....69 longhorn.
