In the SF bay area(Northern California) I found the following:

72 k5 $6950

72 k5 $2000....this ones a steal... 2nd owner!
description for above $2000 (same one)

72 k5 $14000...!!! ouch a bit too much

72 k5 $8000.....nice one

72 jimmy.....$1800

Here's a hardtop apparently made of gold....$1000!

72 k5 $1400

69 k5 $8000 ..I actually went and saw this one..looked ok

The prices are in line with what they are going for up here in Seattle. I've seen some real junkers with outrageous asking prices and some very nice ones with low prices.

I wish that bronze was closer to me, I'd be a buyer or it, dang shipping would be $1400 for it.

jakeslim did you catch wind of that one up over in Napa? i was not to long back in trucktrader maybe? Big red w/ a white 60's grill or w/e (not the egg crate ones) ... new crate 350, etc etc. I think it was like $5-6K range. Already lifted etc, new paint. It looked pretty sweet but "jasper" took a few months to return my message so i was a bit turned off heh. Maybe in a few months he'll REALLY need to sell it - i have pics around here some place

Btw dont forget the steal i got on mine up here
The stupid POs kid wanted a late model thunderbird that i actually saw him happen to get rear ended in....

That reminds me the Painter for healdsburg collision pulled his beast out of w/e pit he's been keeping it in. I wanted to know more then i saw the 4 sale but he wasnt around. The owner told me it was his painters though (should have seen the red paint job!) - he had sold it to him 10 years ago and he's been working on it ever since. He's local, i said i never see it around. He told me 99% of the time its garaged up. Well i guess not anymore since its being sold. What a waist of a sick truck like our blazers imo. ANYWAYS.... it was lifted 6", 35"S, 3/4 ton gear..... $13k !!! Who does he think he is asking that much hahahaha. Thats more of a ebay price then a nor cal price!

not rare, not common here, I've counted like 15-20 or so here in my town of about 10,000 over the last 10 years ago. Bought my red one (avatar pic) about 10 years ago for $4000 with a 396 BB and tow hooks in it on it... I've seen nice ones in a town north of me (boise) for around the $6000 to $8000 price.... then again I've seen 2 for the price of $1500 in the thrifty nickle missing motors and needing body work... still a steal, I didn't have the $1500 back then....

Never saw that one(Napa). There have been a ton going on sale recently here in the bay area though. Pricey. I paid $2100 for my 69(not running), basically rust free, except for some surface rust underneath.

Mine sat at a gas station for over a year before i bought it. The original owners son had the station that did all of its service try to sell it, but both were strictly against dealing on it. I tore all the garbage off it the same day i bought it, and within the first two days i had a couple people offer to but it. It seems like you never see one that is not completely rotted away around here; but when you do, it is always sold just before you call on it.

Nice looking rig. Why is it that so many of these trucks had those lame, plexiglass bug guards? All three of the Blazer's I've owned had them at one time.

I hear ya.I bought one that had it screwed to the grille surround. Not only did it put a mess of holes in a N.O.S.part,but it was in the way for getting to the engine Once I got it home,it stayed on for the time it took to get a screwdriver in my hand.About 5 minutes.

I just got off the phone with TuffCountry.I got the total and I`m sending money, finally, for my 6"lift.I`ve had X-Terrains mounted and balanced sitting in my garage for a year. This is for my Highlander PU.It`s shocks are way shot and there is a broken leaf on each side in the rear(1/2 missing).I will finally feel good about driving it.I know all about round to its. Don`t forget show`n`tell when you do.
