brakes...

Well i have bad brake lines. I Need to buy new copper lines that go from the master cylinder and all that, and i need the rubber hoses that hook up into the back of the caliper.. left and right hoses. In the lmc mag its 109 for the copper lines, and 19 for each rubber hose. Do any of you know where i can find these things for a bit cheaper price? with fairly fast shipping? cause i am sitting on blocks right now, and this is my daily driver... So any help would be appreciated.

I get my regular brake hoses for the caliper from NAPA.
I have purchased hardlines from http://www.inlinetube.com/ They have them there for OEM version for $90. I have also gotten my stainless lines from them.

How hard is it to bend them oem tubes? They are so small i can see how it would be easy to kink it, and ruin the tube. Did you have to use a special tool to do it?

p.s. Im new to this... (needless to say....) lol. Thx for the help.

I had to make a small section of tubing for my front brake and the bend was not much problem. I used one of the hand benders and went a little at a time and kepth checking to ensure it was not too much.

I got the rubber hoses from Advanced Auto. Bending new tubes is not that hard if you have the originals to go by. I used one of those hand benders and a flaring tool. Remember to put the ends on before you flare it (haha). Just take you time because it is hard to correct a bad bend.

Because copper has different properties than steel, it can't handle the pressure of a hydraulic system (900 -1200 psi). In time, it may 'deteriorate' and burst.

You can buy lines now that you can bend with your hand
