"Special Modifications"

Han Solo was said to have made "Special Modifications" to the millenium Falcon. Basicallly, he had an illegal hyperdrive and some compartment built in for smuggling. Does anyone else have a "Special Modification" that they did themselves? I always wanted to add something to make an oil slick maker, incase some bad dudes (not police, my brother is a sherrif's deputy) were to get behind me, and need an attitue adjustment.
I'm not talking about Sly Stallone's car in Deathrace 2000 either.

I plan on restoring the truck to look as innocent as possible, but SURPRISE! It's faster than anything on the road. I think lowering it would give it away, though.

I've been tempted to dump a bunch of money into the engine but leave the body looking like sh!t to fool people, but I gave up on that idea.

It might be messy but you could rig something to drip some motor oil on your tailpipe.... SpyHunter Smoke Screen Action...

Sly stallone was in Deathrace 2000? I thought it was David Carradine (sp). I guess it has been 20 years since I saw it...

OIL SPRAY

I have once thought of that too. If you use two windshield washer pumps and oversized tubes I think you could make it work. You can use pretty much anything to control them.

I knew a guy who had a toggle switch hooked up to his brake lights to lose tailgaters. Could have some fun with the backup lights, too.

Sheesh, most of these trucks have the "Smoke screen oil leak" option on them naturally........

I used to have a small electric pump hooked up to my horn button. When pressed, it would squirt water about 10 feet ahead of the truck(while parked).

I also had my horn wired into my alarm, so as a bonus, I could squirt the thing remotely........he he he.

Funny story: Back in high school when I worked at Tires Plus, I stopped in to get my paycheck one friday. When I pulled up, one of the salesmen was outside smoking a cigarette. Right as I pulled up by him, he purposely flicked his cigarette at my truck........so I pulled up reeeeeeeal close and hit the horn button. Heh heh.....he looked like he peed himself

Speaking of back-up lights......I have them rigged up to work manually with a pull switch from the choke hole, not as a 'Special Modification' but i do think if I get a crazy a$$ed fool messing with me....some back up lamps in their face would be fine.......BRING IT ON FROM BEHIND BABY......I'M READY!!!!!! YOU'LL SEE SPOTS ALL THE WAY BACK HOME!!!!

Fun discussion topic, but probably not a good idea to implement some of these. If your oli slick device or back up light flashing ever cause a wreck, your actions become proximate cause to any injury that takes place... you could lose everything you ever even thought of owning if you got sued... and you would lose when they identified the truck's mechanism.

I'm not an attorney, but I play one on TV

How about an old extra washer bottle and pump with the hoses ran back to the rear and made to spray on the rear tires - Fill the bottle with bleach water or something and some throttle for a big smoke screen anytime -

When I was a kid growing up in around SPOKANE WASHINGTON (just to the south in WHEAT country) We kids got bored so we would cruise the back roads to find john law to chase us. I installed a "blackout" switch to my break and tail lights, He couldn't chase what he couldn't see........ Then we would hightail it to one of the guys houses, change vehicles and go watch the law watch for us.

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE OLD DAYS WHEN STUPID KID PRANKS WEREN'T CONSIDERED A FELONY ?????????????

SLy Stallone's Car In Deathrace 2k

In case my comment about Stallone's Car in deathrace 2000 was out ot left field, he had like a 6 foot Bowie knofe on the hood of his car. Something an eight year old hoodlum, or a really bad prop designer would think was realistic...
Below are some pictures

Mount a spring-loaded license plate holder, like those on 60's and 70's full size chev cars that cover the gas filler pipe. Install a pulley system and a cable going to the cab. You pass a photo radar or something at top speed and pull your string!

I installed a toggle switch to shut off my brake lights. That way you can brake when meeting a cop and he will never know. Also good for loosing people that are following you. You can brake to take a corner and they won't be able to.

In high school a buddy took the washer bottle and filled with tranny fluid. Put the exit hose into the carb. With a little trans oil in the carb, look out. Now that is a smoke screen.

In high school I had a 68 SS with Exhaust dumps.
You pulled the cable and the exhaust opened up right after the headers. Only bad part was I had to clib under it to close them again.

"GRAD-MOBILE"

This was years ago, but a bunch of friends and I bought a $100 station wagon to go to all the parties around Graduation time (we didn't want to trash our real cars and trucksin the bush) we rigged up a washer pump and a plastic bottle under the hood that brought our "BEVERAGES" right to the cab via the ashtray. It also had a compartment that dropped trash or empty cans out of the middle of the car. There was a 4X8 sheet of plywood on the roof rack for girls to dance on or us to "SURF".

The day came to get rid of the Grad-Mobile, and we advertised it in the local paper, an older guy came to look at it, and picked it apart, rust here, squeek there. He even asked us if it burned any oil, a buddy piped up and said" Let's just say we haven't added any" which the guy thought it didn't burn any, but we didn't even check the oil in the months we Trashed the Wagon. We even got our money back for the car, we needed more beer you know.

PLEASE DO NOT RECREATE THIS STORY, ITS AGAINST THE LAW. i FIGURED i COULD TELL YOU GUYS.

Had a Jeep in H.S. with a full roll cage. Not that roll bars are any special modification but you've seen those "adult" swings?.. they attach quite nicely
