stainless rocker panel trim - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

In the newest brothers catalog ( page 119 #srps100) there is a stainless rocker panel trim set that goes on the rocker panels of all places. Anyone ever seen one of these sets in person? If so do the extend up to the top of the rocker panel area. My neighbor has a set on a late model GMC and it looks pretty sharp and I was wondering what they might look like on our trucks. Anyone got a pic of a set on one?

No. i was talking about the outer rocker panels on the fenders below the trim line and the lower section of the door. Basically the lower third of the truck

there is a yellow 72 in town here with them on it and I don't care for it at all. It is right below his trim. I will find it and take a pic for you within the next 2 days

Hey photoglg, I like those SS strips, did you make them yourself? I have the stainless edge guards just like those, and have thought on occassion about covering that step area also. The truck looks great too! How about sharing some more pics?

Hey barn9 I got them from LMC they did cost too much.

I have some like photoglg's but not as nice. I think mine were just JCWhitney adhesive backed stainless strips. I like them but they do get dinged if you have something hard like a rock that gets stuck on the rocker and then you shut the door on it. One day I'll probably replace them with some like photoglg's though since his seem to be a better design. Mine are a bit thick.

BTW, photoglg, nice interior. Is that leather seats? I like the color and style.
