Not really a choice for me, slowly becoming more of a drag truck, but still street legal. Rides in a trailer there, but get's driven once there, the more I race it the less I feel a need to cruise with it. How about a trailer king used for short trips around 1/4 mile at a time.

Daily driver and a work in progress, (my wife will not go for a ride in my truck!!)
I have owned this truck 1 month but must say I really like driving it.

I am still trying to figure out if that is a good thing or bad thing. I guess that all depends.

Well, mine are cruiser or show only, so I hardly drive them except to my carwash once a month, but that's because my 91 1/2 ton is simply a better vehicle. It's much more fuel efficient, has an extra cab, and is much more comfortable. I know that many will argue that "they don't make 'em like they used to" and thank goodness they don't, because today's cars, w/the advances made in electronics, especially w/timing and fuel injection, are much more reliable, comfortable and efficient than any thing that was produced in the late 60s and early 1970s. But, from an aesthetic view, there is NOTHING on the road that surpasses a 67-72 Chev/GMC truck, regardless of it's condition or modifications, and I don't think I'll get an argument from anyone on that.

I am glad that you included GMC in that statement. I drive mine everyday and even use it for work to tow my car hauler, but is was a frame off rotisserie restoration with extensive modifications. So I don't really know where to put it so I put it in Queener just to help out that end of the poll.

When the truck gets finished it will be original except for the carpet and the stereo that will be mounted into the glove box. wood box will be red oak instead of yellow pine.

If I can ever get Old Yeller finished (only been working on him for 15 years ) he'll be a daily driver. He might even make it as a cruiser for a while but knowing how things go and my love of driving he'll be a driver.

Mine's a cross between a show-er and a beater. Let's call it a Sheater . Looks like "sheat" (sic) but I usually "show" up at my destination with it.

Re: Classify your ride!!!

well the body is so far rusted on mine it's not worth fixing, but the drivetrian is in excellent shape, only about 1500 miles on it. I didn't see a category for Sanford and Son Special, so I classified it as a beater.
