A trip to Morrisville and Hardwick VT Junk Yards - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Decided to check out a couple of yards I had not been to in several years. I took my digital camera this time. The Northeastern part of VT is like a time warp. Things were literally in the same spots as I last remembered them. It seem like nobody knows about them. The Hardwick VT yard has thousands of cars and trucks some dating back to the 20's. Alot of them are mostly complete but have been there for decades. The Morrisville yard is smaller but has cars and trucks from the 40's up. This yard has a couple Blazers and 3 burbs. I also noticed to batwinged Impalas from 59 as well. Unfortunately the lower end of the Morrisville yard is on a flood plain and everything is covered in silt and sits in the muck. Don't even think about sheetmetal here, though there were a few decent pieces. Lot's of brackets, linkages, and other parts still intact though.

How much is the next question, and the third is when the hell am I going to get to you get my parts? Jeesh, I have been so busy, I am truley sorry I left you stuck with them for so long, I am trying though. If they are a nucience to you, you can store them outside, but just off the ground, I will be there asap!!! I promise!

They are salvagable. They are inside the Blazer and I don't think the river came up this year. Foam is there as is steel backs and frame. No brackets. Your stuff is in my storage area and not in the way.

Brackets? dont they just bolt to the floor? I only need the passenger side. My blazer is getting parted, and it has one on the drivers side. I dont know what they might cost, but 40 bucks is what I could pay for the one.

They use the same brackets as the contoured buckets, or so I assumed. I'll see what I can do
