Post Need black plug (and wires) for back of Ignition sw.

I got the ignition switch out to replace ('72 Chevy) only to find the plug that plugs in the back melted beyond repair. Can someone spare a plug and a couple inches of wires from a parts truck? I don't think this can be found new..what do you think? I need one asap so send me email what you would want for it. Thanks, Kurt

Cool

I found this problem a couple weeks ago and drew a quick diagram and replaced with crimp connecters, haven't had any more problems since. Plus you don't have the plastic to melt again.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Check with your dealership. I found them there about 4-5 years ago.

Has enough rust for several trucks! Gotta Love it.

I have a 72 Cheyenne 10 with a V8 350 and a TH-350 auto-tranny.
Ochre/White/Ochre
Runs well... working on body.
Plan to get painted weekend before memorial day weekend.
Planned to be done March 7 when I turned 16. Didn't happen. Chose to do better job and be behind schedule instead of 1/2 doing it and it looking like junk.

I bought a new ignition switch pigtail from LMC a while ago. It worked great.
