Question Forgive me for I have sinned

Any one else get so pissed that you punched your truck? I just did today.
I used to have an anger controll problem, had it under controll since '91, but I just snapped tonight.
Am I alone here?

The last time I did this I was 16 and into fords. (hey, was a kid)
I had a can of black primer sittin on the roof. Was installing a brand new holley 600 and kept dropping stuff. I got so pissed that I grabbed a large flat head screwdriver and threw it as hard as I could. Since the hood was removed, the driver went right into the can and fogged everything....EVERYTHING black. All my new chrome, my new carb, my windshield, ME!!!
I learned a little something that day. I guess I forgot already huh?

Well, if you look at pics of my truck, you'll see it has an ugly green cowl, that's because I got pissed and punched the crap out of the old one.....I've found that beating the piss out of a vehicle doesn't get you anywhere, and my hand was swelled up for about a week and half (yes, I hit it that hard). Now my knuckle makes this funky popping sound when I close my hand into a fist, and I have a non matching cowl...I didn't gain a damn thing....next time, go have a beer, crank some tunes, and just be alone for a while....

Nahhh, I keep a D*%ge car around here for anger frustration management, you'd be amazed what a 930 Case tractor with a loader will do to a 71 D*#ge monaco!!

I locked myself out of my 280zx so I kicked it real hard right behind the door. Made a nice big dent and made me look like an a$%.
Now I just walk off and do something else until I calm down. It's usually not the vehicles fault. With our old trucks, think of it this way, "It's 30 years old"; "I should have replaced it years ago"; "Da$%, a real man must have been working in Detriot back then!"

My ex-wife came home with my 75 Malibu classic back in the mid-80. She was drunk and hit a big boulder in a parking lot. So pissed I punched our trailer/mobile home instead of doing an O.J. Simpson on her.

When I was a kid I was working on my 68 down at my dads shop. Was doing bodywork to the front fender. Well after a dozen or so times of putting on plastic and sanding it down to far and redoing the same thing I got pissed and beat the sob with a hammer. Had to get a used fender after that. My dad was mad but boy did it feel good at the time to do it.

Dad tryed to teach me to walk away from a project when things were frustrating........it took a few yrs to learn that, but I dont usually get to excited when things dont go as planned. My little bro got cranked at something that he was working on,& smacked the side of the garage(broke his hand too!). Dad was real sympathetic too......."Quote"....well you dumb F**ker, you should have known better! hehe ........69

Thumbs down

I was working on my old '70 once and got mad. Opened the drivers door to throw the wrench back in the truck. Threw it a little too high and it went through the window in the passenger door. OOPS!! Didn't feel any better after that one.
