Cab Differences 67-72?

Hi

I was wondering what differences there were between the 67 thru 72 cabs.I know there is that "vent" at the door jamb on the later models, but was wondering if there were any more differences or anything stopping me from using my 67/68 front sheetmetal and doors on a later cab?

I will eventually need to find a "decent" cab to rebuild as the one on my 68 is well beyond repair, and would rather not use the one off my 67 while iam using it for daily trransportation.

Thanks

67 small window, hand brake
68 hand brake
69/70 foot brake. Also 69 first year for cargo light (and dome light door pins maybe?)
71 cable throttle
72 no mirror holes in cab metal, and door vent.

It seems like a while back I saw something about 71-2's & 67-70's actually had different windshields but I'm not 100% sure what the diff was supposed to be. Can anyone confirm this?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Same windshield but the windshield gasket is different if it has the stainless trim.

Longhornmail, some 67's had the "Panoramic View" option which has the big back window. My 67 has this option. I'm sure you know this already so I'm just adding what you left out.

Question

I friend of mine had over 30 trucks at his place. I noticed the 71's had a raised place for the rear view mirror to mount. None of the 67-70 had this. Anybody confirm or deny.

What about--

firewall is embossed differently on the driver's side
little metal balls in floor under gas pedal
rearview mirror mount

dashboard is different from an early 67 then later 67-72. Ashtry is different. Ignition switch hole is different. I think lighter hole is different too...

Wiper/Light controls are also in different locations on the dash as well as an additional location for choke cable in 67 and 68's.
