1988 sub power door locks

Where do I start for troubleshooting powerdoor locks that do not work. I have checked the fuse chart. It says that the rear window is on the same fuse and it works.

Suggestions?

I would probably start at the drivers door switch. Check for power. If you don't have it there the problem will be between the door and the fuse panel. If you have power going in trip the switch and see if it is going out. You could have several bad switches. (had that on a caprice) Hope that helps

Re: 1988 sub power door locks

Thats what I thought. Just never messed with a power lock problem. Sometimes things can have an easy, most often, "duh" kind of solution I wanted to make sure I was not overlooking before I dove into the door.

To add, non of the power door locks work. Do all the locks come off of the driver side? Or does this indicate that the problem may be more central?

Thanks,

Hobbs.

All the locks will unlock from the drivers door and the passenger door.
