Helo From Tucson

there, i'm an 18 year old from tucson, and my dad owns what seems to be a 1987 short-bed chevy custom deluxe. I am not sure of the year because he bought it in Mexico and its supposed to be a 1990 there, the truck has the stock 350 but I want to make sure what year it is. it also has a 302 ford carb on it and I want to know which is a good (or the best) carb for it. Im looking into Edelbrock carbs but since i don't know the year of the engine im not sure which one to buy . Any Healp Please

Welcome to the board from South Mississippi! On the carbs, you should be able to ignore the engine year.

Thats what i was told but for the Edelbrock carb if the engine is 1985 i can just bolt it on right out of the box, but if it is 1987 i have to buy an adaptor

That's 'cuz in 87 chevrolet went to Throttle body fuel injection which I think used a different intake. Post a pic of your current setup on the Engine board and the experts can tell you what you need. I would think if you already have a carb on it, you should be able to put another in it's place.
